French bistro,
British twist.

Long lunches, evening cocktails and proper Sunday roasts, in the old heart of Christchurch.

The Priory

Downstairs for a drink,
upstairs to dine.

Downstairs is the cafe and bar, where dogs are welcome and the coffee is good. Upstairs is the restaurant, with a window looking onto the church.

The cooking leans on Dorset and Hampshire produce, French technique with a British accent. One kitchen runs from morning coffee through to dinner and a nightcap at the bar.

Clouded Leopard Gin

The house gin, made by our owner Will Phillips from British wheat spirit on small copper pot stills, with juniper, mango, lemon zest and black pepper.

A London Dry juniper start, bright lemon-zest through the middle, a tropical mango and black pepper finish.

A share of every bottle goes to the Born Free Foundation and the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, in support of the clouded leopard. Ask for a Double G&T at the bar.
